Smack's Bayou is a vibrant and vital natural resource enjoyed by many. However, due to development and use, it is on the list of "distressed" waterways, requiring extra care and consideration before any new burdens are placed on it. A sustainable ecosystem will allow future generations to enjoy what we have enjoyed up until now. Here in this section we explore the potential impact a new Marina would have on Smack's Bayou.

The first hearing in November was attended by a small group of residents. The Laramar Group consisted of no less than 8 lawyers, engineers, and paid consultants, proving that substantial funds have been committed to pushing their agenda forward.
